New THings!!!

Crosstown!!! We lost:(
So I got a new car, and yes as it said above 3 tv's! So sweet and i bought it myself which is prob the coolest part:) Crosstown, is where CMR plays, my school GFHS in a rivalry game... and yes we lost but it was still very fun. And Halloween.... i was a princesses or something and we painted faces at our church's Fall Famtasic party! Then we went to a hunted house. Heather was the funnest person there by far!!! But that whole day was probably the best day I have had in a long long time!!! Gotta run.. Love

New Smallgroups!

We are starting a new curriculum in Cadres that I'm really excited for!! Its called Here and Now from Just like Christ. And I'm just really stoked to see what this is going to do in the lives of these amazing high school girls, along with myself. The other cool thing is that the teaching plan is pretty intense, which makes me learn it better and put more work into it! This is going to be a great learning and growing time for me and my girlfriends!!!

Ten on Tuesday!!

Livin my life, fun, daring, great, mysterious, likable, risky, peaceful, stressful, busy, and oh so lovable! I was thinking about it and really I have nothing to be mad about, stressed about, and I can take every moment- good or bad, and make it better. We have an amazing God who loves us more than we know, and I try oh so hard to remember that whenever I can.

So I have a couple of exciting things to say... I am doing wonderful!!! I am loving God, showing the love of God, and getting closer to God! ooh and it's ten on tuesday so here i go:
1. Today was powder puff practice.( football for girls)
2. I am a running back in FOOTBALL!! a good potision, or so i herd:)
3. Got a new laptop... the one im on right now... bought it myself... good deal... love it!!!
4. My mom's gone to Cali. for the whole week:(
5. I'm liking the idea of culinary school more and more!!( i think its GOD!)
6. my room is really messy
7. I need 9 more bugs for a bug collection at school! bugs are hard to find when its cold...
8. I love my family... so much....
9. Deciding whether to rip off these fake nails or not!! they're buggin' me!
10. I have HOMEWORK:(

Altogether, I really think we have an amazing Daddy looking on us with love and proud, glistening eyes.

HEY!!! CALI!!!

I'm oh so excited, for my 16th birthday present I get to fly to California to visit my sister Amber! I have never been on a plane before, and I am so excited! Daniella, Elisha, and Me are going to have a blast exploring the L.A. airport, where we fly in, and oh so much fun spending time with my big sis's family!! I will take lots of pictures!

Living MY Life.

So, summer is finally here!!!! Now I don't know how long it will stay, cause we all know Montana weather, and when it wants to BLESS us with snow in June! And if you don't I feel sorry for you, cause I don't care what anyone else says Montana is beautiful. It never stops showing me how mighty God is, and how glorious everything he created is. Anyway life as I said before never stops and I feel as if I starting to catch up with it, and not trying to chase it. Which is exciting!! Tomorrow is our last day of school (Yippie) and oh how I can not wait... Fuego, camping, birthday, California, Fort Benton, are all the amazing things I'm looking forward to! Not to mention the floating trips, volleyball, picnics, sun!, swimming, the river, and friends. All the blessings that God pours on me everyday!!

The summer is also a needed time to be with the people who love you 24/7! It really is the time for me to get filled, and spend time with God. To get all the love, mercy, grace, and wonderful wisdom of God, to pour out next year!! You really get equipped with tools needed to defeat the enemy and claim victory in kids heart next year!! I LOVE THE SUMMER:)

Just keep SWIMMING!

So I've discovered that the little fish on Finding Nemo, Dory was right! We just need to keep swimming... and swimming... and swimming! But I guess Nate Swanson is right also. In his message last night about how we can NEVER GIVE UP!! No matter what, God's always going to be with you so never back down, and start "wrestling" with God. This makes so much sense to me, and it only continues to assure me that I have an amazing God, that will never forsake me!!! Maybe Dory knew that too!! :) Anyways, school is coming to a close (11 more days) and it just keeps getting tougher and tougher. But last night and this morning God reassured me that people still need his love, and are still hurting. So I can't stop pouring out God's love on the people that need it most, even if there are only 2 weeks left of school!!!

I MADE IT!!!!

Oh My Goodness!!!! I absolutely can not believe it!! I Marissa Elaine Evans got into the top choir at GFHS! Delphian!!!!!!! Ok so the story is, I got callbacks, and went they were great, and then awaited the List to be released! A couple days later I got a note saying, "because of logistical reasons there will be a second callback. at 7:00 am today!" So, This morning I came to school bright and early to the second callbacks. We sang through a 19 part song (crazy i know) then Mr. Volf says I'm handing out a huge piece of music in an envelope, Don't OPEN it! so we all got it and then he said ok open it! we did and all the delphian seniors ran in with donuts and whistles, and said welcome to Delphian! Oh then he called Rhapsody, and said my name!!!!!!! Sorry I'm not really making sense right now I'm still shaking!!!! AAAAHHHHHHH! is all i feel

HElp hElp! Someone stole my mom, sister Christel, and my niece and nephew:( I got wind of them driving to CALIFORNIA! yeah hot, sunny, wonderful, Cali. Oh! and don't let me forget what they're doing there, seeing Amber, Dan, and the kids. (whom I haven't seen in like a year!) Me, Marissa, alone in little Great Falls, that today happen to make every one's life better and SNOW! I am alone...echo!...echo!... for 10 days! John and Elisha are coming this weekend, but still sunny California...Really!

Running!

Now, a while ago I said that I hated running! Well, I found I do not like running for no purpose. Just recently my very good friend Kelsey told me that when you run you feel accomplished and strong. This I didn't believe at all, I thought I rather die than run just for the fun of it. Well I have changed my mind on running. You do feel better after running, and it does empower you. I am proud to say that I just got done running around my neighborhood, and I feel GREAT! My goal is to run everyday, just a little, and I'm so excited to be healthy!

Flash Back Friday!

ok, so it amazing that I'm still so young and yet trends and styles have already come and gone. And by that introduction you might know what I'm talking about. Today as I was walking into school I watched as a group of kids passed a sack full of sand around with there foot. Yes, Hackey sack. (and if thats spelt wrong, its not my fault) I remember when my sister and her friends used to play hakey sack all the time, and how sometimes they would let me play. Which was nice because I was really BAD. Anyway I had a quiet laugh and flashback!

And this last picture is girls being crazy! So I just came back from a three day trip to Spokane, Washington. We went as an orchestra and came back as a big group of FRIENDS! It was probably the highlight of the whole school trip, we did everything from hung out at a cute hotel to riding purple boxes (Gondola) over traitorous water falls and watching "DINOSAURS ALIVE!" in an imax. We went shopping ate at amazing restaurants, climbed on metal statues, and finally got to know each other. Its amazing how much you don't know about a person until you stay with them for three whole days! We also played, i guess is kind of why we were there. We stopped at U of M and played there, along with Gonzaga University, oh and we played at a elementary in a little town called Frenchtown. (which had to be the funnest!) Anyways it was a great weekend and hope you like all the pictures!

It was for everyone to come to after the prom, which most of us didn't go to. We ate food, danced, and just hung out with each other, it was a blast, because the best part I got to do. DRESS UP!

Confessions of A Shopaholic!

Amy Adams, my newest favorite actress. She is so cute, and even if she's a little cheesy. I guess I like her innocence. In the new movie Confessions of a Shopaholic she is such a perfect girl to play her role. In my opion no other actress could have pulled this movie off. I love this movie and I recommend it for any girls night- scratch that, any night that you want to laugh out loud, cry, and feel better about how much you shop. This movie is full of lessons that you wouldn't expect out of the title. But like they say don't judge a book (movie) by it's cover.

The world turns!

Hello all! I've been so busy lately. Working tons, homework more than ever, and it all seems to never stop. It as if the world is going by so fast that either your in it, going around with it, or paused, zoned out watching everything go by. The world is never going to stop for you, or slow down. You have to be BRAVE, and just keep going. Right now I'm at the point that you feel like you don't have a break. There is a constant stream of homework (especially in geometry..I hate geometry) and I don't like homework at all. I think if were going to spend 6+ hours at school every day we don't need 2-3 more hours of the work we already did. Really, they expect the youth today to manage all this stress, and busy schedule perfectly. No wonder kids have bad attitudes, and just want to sit and watch TV all day.We just need a break. Now I'm not agreeing with the bad attitudes, but kids don't know how to deal with all this at one time. That why they need Jesus! Right!? I'm just breathing a little:)

So, I officially apologise for not blogging in forever. I hope you forgive me:) Anyways I'm now going to try to catch you up. So I just want to say God is AWESOME! He has blessed me with so much and I want to proclaim to the world that God is amazing. We just came back from Base Camp, and it was the best time ever!!! From the high intensity games to the acoustic guitar worship, God was there and changing lives. Me and Heather were the activity team, and came up with the amazing race game. Everyone was split into teams and they got clues. They had to travel through the woods to find different activities. They had to make a snowman, eat jello through straws, pick money out of a bowl full of snow, eat frozen bananas covered in chocolate, and test their smarts. (too bad it was the coldest dat ever) Everyone liked it and had a blast. I found new friends that will last forever which is so exciting, and Nate preached about the best things ever. Well there is going to be more pictures and more blogging.
