Close Call

Ok, so before I tell you the crazy story, you have to understand we were safe and I have never talked to cops before this. So we got a huge group of people together to play Fugitive, a game that people (fugitives) are on foot running to the destination without being caught by the people in cars (cops). The group started with just church kids and grew so fast I couldn't meet everyone. We started to play and first you have to organize who is going to run and of course everyone wanted to. So I tried to be the organizer but when we said go everyone to off running. It was crazy. So we played for a while and people stared leaving as the night went on. We ended up with like 7 people and 3 were running. So me and Heather and Dale went to sit and wait at the destination. As we were sitting there two women were staring at us from the building next to us. So we decided to leave. We came back to meet and talk with the other car to see what we were to do next and there were the same people staring at us, we thought they were calling the cops, so we left and went to a near by parking lot. Lee got in our car to talk about God and good stuff and guess who pulled up. The cops. The came and talked to us and asked us what we were doing and for our licences. We explained the game and why we were sitting there. Finally they came back and told us we weren't doing anything wrong and we can keep playing. And that the people that were staring at us thought we were breaking into cars. Even though no one even got out of our cars and plus there was no cars where we were. But it was really cool and good for everyone. For me I faced my fears of cops. For the guys, they had just recently came to church and given their lives to God, and they used to be big partiers. This time when they were stopped by the cops they could honestly say we weren't doing anything wrong, we must have felt really good. It did to me although I've never done anything bad anyway. But It was a very crazy night.
